Fees & Booking

A straightforward place to start.

Choose an individual counselling session or begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation to connect and see whether we’re the right fit. Appointments are offered in person and virtually.

Session fees

Individual counselling, 50 minutes: $170 per session. Increasing to $175 in January 2027.

Complimentary consultation, 15 minutes: Free. An opportunity to ask questions, talk about what you’re looking for, and see whether we’re the right fit before booking your first session.

Insurance & approved programs

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Extended health plans that include RCC coverage may reimburse counselling sessions; please check your plan.

I offer direct billing through the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) for clients who have already been approved for these services.

I do not currently bill private insurance companies directly. A receipt is emailed to you after each session for submission to your insurer.

I am also listed in the First Responders Health Directory. Directory listing does not itself confirm third-party coverage.

Common questions

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed for private counselling. Funded programs may have their own approval requirements.

What happens in the first session?

We’ll talk about what brings you to counselling, what you hope to get from it, and how we might work together. You don’t need to share everything at once.

How many sessions will I need?

There’s no fixed number. We can discuss your goals and revisit what feels useful as we go.

Do you see couples or families?

I provide individual counselling for adults and youth aged 12 and older, rather than ongoing couples or family therapy. If working with youth parent sessions will also be available to bring you into the support for your child.
